# Do I owe affiliate commission to EventRaptor?

We at EventRaptor may send traffic to your Event, and this can happen in a number of ways:

1. We feature your Event on our main website
2. We mention your Event at a networking meeting
3. We send a "Weekly Digest" email with your Event listed
4. Someone discovers your Event in the Events Directory, and wants to register themselves
5. And more!

So even if we haven't agreed to promote your Event or made a commitment to do so, you may still see registrations for your Event from EventRaptor.

If someone then purchases a paid ticket or offer, do you owe EventRaptor any affiliate commission?

Well, *if you want to.*

We're currently not requiring any affiliate commissions to be paid to us, as we haven't formalized a Checkout system and Affiliate payout system within EventRaptor yet. These are due for a future feature release, but as reliability and security are our #1 priorities, we need to make sure these fully work before we launch them.

In the meantime, if you'd like to share some affiliate commission with EventRaptor, you can send it to us via PayPal at <finance@eventraptor.com>, or contact [support@eventraptor.com ](mailto:support@eventraptor.com)for ACH details - but we will handle this on an honor system and not require it.

**Note: if we have separately agreed to promote your Event on an affiliate basis, that agreement supersedes this article. Unless otherwise agreed, EventRaptor makes no commitment to promote your Event, and may choose to do so at our sole discretion.**
