# I received an invitation to Speak/Participate in an Event - who should I contact?

From time to time, you may receive automated emails from EventRaptor letting you know that you've been invited to speak or participate in an Event.

You should receive an email looking something like this, depending on your email clients and whether you have email images enabled:

You can respond to that email and your message will go to the Host, or alternatively the Host's email will be listed so you can contact them directly.

As EventRaptor is just the platform the Event is being held on, we cannot answer any specific questions about the Event, such as application criteria, requirements, or anything else you'd like to know before submitting your application.
